Off the Field ~ Players Wives Association is comprised solely of the wives of active and retired NFL players. The foundation is a tax-exempt charitable organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is authorized to accept charitable gifts on behalf of Off The Field. All contributions are tax deductible within the limits set by the law.
We recognize that there is a certain tradition that resonates with each city that is honored with hosting the Super Bowl. With that in mind the Off the Field 8th Annual Awards Banquet and Fashion Show Gala for Charity will serve as a conduit for our organization to do its part not only highlighting the beauty that lies within Tampa, but also giving back to its community.
Off the Field will recognize the achievements of a vast array of phenomenal women with the Life Honors Award. The Life Honors Award recipients are recognized not only for their superlative work, but for their quiet contributions while empowering women; whether in business, health, education, media, sport or entertainment, all are selected by the officers and board of directors of Off the Field.
This year Tampa’s Centre for Women, Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, American Cancer Society's Benjamin Mendick Hope Lodge and the Tyra Banks T-ZONE Foundation represent the deserving charities that we will honor with a charitable donation.
While all eyes will be on the city of Tampa as it prepares for the National Football League’s championship game, we look forward to celebrating the champions who make their mark off the field while making a difference.
